Ques 1 : If you can share some of the Blockchain work you are optimistic about and you think that can bring a great impact in future.
Ans : I am truly optimistic about how Blockchain will add further levels of trust, transparency, and authenticity to products, solutions, and services around the world. The ability for it to create new business models and opportunities will result in supporting those new channels with talented people. Jobs and job creation is something extremely important to me. and it’s been a true blessing to be part of such incredible companies that have extensive needs to onboard large numbers of engineers, developers, and ui/ux designers with experience and knowledge in this field. What we are building at TurnCoin’s VirtualStaX for example is intended for servicing billions of users around the world and this would not be feasible if it wasn’t for Blockchain technology and the low cost associated with business models that are developed on top of and around Blockchain.
Ques 2 : How can we leverage Blockchain in 2023? What is the best event that you attended recently? What were your key takeaways?
Ans : Leveraging it is one thing, but more importantly I believe is creating real world strong utility around Blockchain that gets mass adoption, understanding, and support. The majority of the world does not understand words like Blockchain, Web3, Crypto, Digital Assets, NFT, and Tokens. We need easy to understand solutions that are effective and successful in the market so more resources, strategy, and support go into continued development. If Blockchain projects that get attention, coverage, and strong financial backing are not successful, then it can stall or damper the growth the industry and world needs it to have. The city of Miami under the leadership of Mayor Francis Suarez puts together the most beneficial events and conferences out of any city or region to date. I am extremely pleased what he has not only done for the city of Miami, and the State of Florida, but for the US in general for being a global authority on Blockchain.
Ques 3 : What is the potential for Blockchain globally?
Ans : The potential is probably one of the greatest technological revolutions we have experienced since humankind’s evolution. It is something that every transaction can utilize by creating an immutable ledger, and by every transaction I mean across every possible situation and industry in the current as well as future world we all live in. Now what is important is the sustainable business models that are developed upon Blockchain and the real value add, need, and long term utility that’s created.
Ques 4 : How Blockchain will redefine business and work?
Ans : There are many ways, of which I mentioned some above, by creating exceptional job opportunities, new careers, and new divisions in large corporations, down to small mom and pop businesses. What I believe it truly will redefine is putting complete transparency and trust into businesses and business operations. This will help protect stakeholders of those businesses and future potential investors. As someone that has been hurt by putting time, money, and resources into bad investments, would have been avoided if Blockchain technology was involved and that immutable data was properly accessible.
Ques 5 : What’s your success mantra?
Ans : That time is our most precious commodity. It has been my company motto and mantra for over 20 years. Money comes and goes, and money is the biproduct of good people doing good work; however you cannot get your time back. Make sure your time is spent on real opportunities, with real genuine, good, ethical people. Blockchain can take my mantra to an entirely new level and expedite vetting processes and business relationships to ensure they are legitimate, and well worth pursuing further.
