Powerlook
Powerlook is one of the topmost e-commerce platforms for men’s statement clothing. Their USP lies in offering customers the best in terms of design and comfort, while at the same time ensuring that all their products are available at affordable rates.
Powerlook was founded in 2017. Today, they are a team of 1000+ employees, with more than 5 stores across India. Powerlook approached us and needed a fresh visual identity and website that could reflect the new space they intended to create in the market.
Consistency Evokes Conviction
It’s always challenging to swap the ‘old’ with ‘new’, especially when a brand is already established & has a community built around it. We wanted to create an exceptional experience for the users.
We showcased our expertise in curating the right design language, by executing a 200% improvement in the website visits.
This added the number of users, especially new users, visiting the website that boosted their growth in daily online orders by X%.
One Slight Change For The User — Led To A Giant Leap For The Brand.
Our principal challenge was the development process of the product. Since we introduced plenty of new features and functionalities, it was essential to maintain a consistent product design.
With Powerlook, illuminz took an analytic and innovative approach to deliver a result-oriented, user-friendly experience. Our greatest challenge during the whole process was to evolve the website that already had a massive consumer-base and to create it as a part of the new flexible design system.
Designing product pages and removing hesitations
Functionally, Powerlook needed a platform that offered a seamless and simple path to its users; flexibility, and control to its internal teams that help them grow and expand their business.
The Design Element
To help customers find their way, we've improved the iconography for Powerlooks’s clothing categories. We analyzed users’ actions through heat maps. This helped in improving the overall experience for the user.
We also made categories for clothing look more distinguishable so that their intent can be easily perceived by users.
User friendly design for all devices
Starting from the visual identity we created new color palette guidelines, typography systems, photography guidelines, and graphic elements such as patterns, shapes, and their applications.

Streamlining the conversion funnel
The purpose was to unleash the power of affordable fashion for men, through technology. We successfully launched Powerlook’s new website within four months of commencing the project.
